Our Story

Embolden Threads & More was born from a personal journey of overcoming limitations and embracing the freedom to create. As a college student pursuing a degree in clinical psychology, I realized that working for someone else’s dream no longer aligned with my own aspirations. I wanted to invest in my own dreams of creativity and community—creating apparel that not only empowered me but also inspired others to live with courage and authenticity.

With a history of overcoming substance use disorder, I know firsthand the importance of resilience and self-expression. These experiences shape our designs and our commitment to quality. A Note from the Founder & CEO

Hi there! My name is Kristen Gibson, and I’m the founder of Embolden Threads & More—a brand born from my own journey of breaking free from limiting beliefs and stepping into a life of purpose, creativity, and resilience. As a student of clinical psychology with dreams of becoming a published author and owning my own practice, I realized I wanted to do more than follow a traditional path—I wanted to create something meaningful.

My past struggles with substance use disorder taught me the power of transformation, the courage it takes to embrace change, and the strength found in self-expression. Embolden Threads & More is a reflection of those values—each design is crafted with the belief that boldness and creativity can inspire growth, not just in what we wear but in how we show up in the world.
